A leading Lloyds insurer are currently undergoing a major finance transformation and have an urgent requirement for someone to join their Financial Reporting team. As a leading name in the Lloyds market this is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious name. This is a 6 month assignment whilst the business undergo the transformation. As part of the team you will be expected to be very involved in the financial, tax and regulatory reporting.
- Manage day to day financial accounting, reporting and controls in accordance with internal and external deadlines.
- Produce monthly reporting packs for Group, including evidence of control and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly UK & US GAAP management accounts
- Testing and reviewing of controls
- Prepare annual statutory financial statements under UK GAAP across multiple entities.
- Assist in the development of improved accounting and reporting processes
- Involvement in ongoing projects
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in the Insurance market as well as being a qualified accountant with experience of working in the financial accounting space.
