Interim Financial Accountant

The Interim Financial Accountant position is a 6 months Interim role working for a Entrepreneurial backed software business.

The company is growing rapidly, has had recent investment and is looking to expand. They have a global client base and a growing reputation in the industry. They are looking to invest in their Finance function and require a technical Financial Accountant with an Audit background or experience taking companies through Audit and year end to work with the senior management to take the company through this and the year-end process.

The role is based in Central London.

Responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for maintaining the revenue recognition process for all revenue streams
• Performing the monthly, quarterly and yearly sales reconciliation
• Assisting the UK and Group yearend audits
• Taking ownership of the accounting function for one of the smaller group entities
• Finance function process improvement
• Involvement and overseeing the groups cash flow
• Statutory reporting for all entities across the group (ex. Companies House, VAT, US Sales Tax, AUS GST, Etc.)

Candidate profile:

1. ACA trained or equivalent with experience in a practice environment working in the Audit team would be very beneficial
2. Good Financial Accounting experience is essential
3. An ability to liaise and partner with senior stakeholders and investors on a regular basis is also essential.
