Accountant x 5

Hays are currently working in partnership with a large Shared Service Centre based just outside of Birmingham. We are recruiting on their behalf 5 Accountants to join them on 6 month contracts.

The roles are to help the business through a period of change and will include being responsible for:

• Completion of month end accounts.
• The review and analysis of monthly results.
• Preparing month end journals.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Preparing budgets and forecasts.
• Group consolidation/ reporting.

This role will suit someone who thrives on a challenge, as it presents lots of opportunity to help drive improvements to processes and procedures and also the potential to secure a contract extension or a permanent role if desired.

The ideal candidate will be either a Finalist or Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ ACA/ ACCA) and a self starter with a strong financial background built within dynamic work environments. Previous experience in SAP and Hyperion is advantageous but not a prerequisite.
