We are seeking a fully qualified (interim) Head of Programme Finance to lead our Programmes Finance team, which provides day-to-day financial support and advice to MAG’s programmes in countries across the globe. This is an exciting and dynamic role, influence local, regional and global stakeholders, with the overriding objective of delivering strong financial control for MAG’s global programmes.  

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Finance you will be responsible for managing the UK based programmes finance team, providing financial advice, support and assurance in the development and monitoring of MAG’s international programme activities as well as overseeing financial planning, analysis and reporting across our global programmes. You will also foster a culture of financial business partnering with operational teams adding value that will assist in decision making and the delivery of MAG’s lifesaving work.

You will be based in MAG’s HQ in Manchester, managing your team, overseeing MAG’s financial control, monitoring and reporting for MAG’s global programmes.    You will occasionally be required to travel to support our programmes overseas; potentially seeing 3 weekly visits per year to our programmes in Southeast Asia, the Middle East or Africa.
