Our client is an international, PE backed communications agency and having enjoyed exceptional growth they are now looking to recruit a best-in-class CFO for one of their fastest growing divisions. Having a dual reporting line into the Group CFO and Regional Business Leader, this role will include responsibility for financial control, FP&A, business partnering and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Providing robust commercial information
- Assist with preparation of bids and client negotiations
- Preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts and reporting
- Demonstrate strong leadership and management across the business
- Ensure compliance with group policies and procedures
- Maintain tight cost control and margin targets across the business in line with forecasts
- Develop and ensure strong systems and controls are in a place to support a rapidly growing business.
- Full management of AP and AR
- Responsible for billing process ensuring clients are billed accurately and within agreed timeframes
- Responsibility for broader operations across the division
- Some international travel
Profile
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA. CIMA, ACCA)
- Previous experience working in an agency environment
- A strong understanding of time billing/ revenue recognition
- US and UK GAAP experience
- International, multi-currency experience
- Previous procurement experience including negotiating and building relationships
- An ability to work effectively in a collaborative style in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
