Head of Planning, Development and Treasury Accounting

About the role:
In this hands-on role, you will prepare the annual Group Long Term Business Plan, regulatory Financial Forecast Return (FFR) and complete the quarterly risk survey returns to the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH). You will be responsible for ensuring continuous satisfaction of funders and investors conditions and financial covenants. Further to this you’ll monitor cash flow and prepare forward forecasting, prepare treasury budgets for interest, costs and interest capitalisation, manage loan administration, oversee corporate banking and insurance. As the business partner for all development related activities you lead on development related investment appraisals, budgeting and management accounting.
About you:
As a Qualified Accountant with full membership of either ACA, ACCA or CIMA, you’ll have significant experience within a similar role and of formulating long-term business plans, modelling assumptions, stress testing and variance analysis. Ideally you will have used BRIXX and have worked in the social housing sector, preparing RSH returns including the FFR and quarterly survey submissions via NROSH. With excellent attention to detail, you’ll work to high standards and have a strong analytical approach. It’s key in this role to have advanced IT abilities, including excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.), Word and report writing skills.
