My Warrington based client, a large multinational service-based organisation is looking for a Qualified Interim Management Accountant for a 12 month period. Covering a period of maternity leave and reporting to the Finance Manager, the Interim Management Accountant will take full responsibility for all financial & management accounting duties for specific entities.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of management reporting and explanations of variances to budget/forecast/prior months for the P&L and Balance Sheet for the UK Region and Head Office
  • Management of team deliverables to reporting deadlines
  • Ownership and review of specified balance sheet accounts. Monthly Risks and Operational review with Managers in the team and UK Financial Controller for reporting to Group
  • Management of the Corporate (Head Office) Cost centres and monthly reporting to the Cost centre owners and COO
  • Ownership of the Fixed Asset register and depreciation postings for the UK Company
  • Maintaining Key relationship with the Internal payroll provider and management of confidential salary information.
  • Working closely with the UK/European Finance Manager and UK Financial Controller
  • Support to Regional Commercial Controller and Head Office cost centre owners in budgeting, forecasting and cashflow
  • Taking a lead on implementing improvements to financial procedures


Desirable Skills / Experience

  • 2-3 years accounting experience (essential)
  • Qualified / Final stage ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
  • Strong excel skills, with an ability use advanced excel formulas and create basic financial models and reports.
  • Good at Building relationships, confident oral and written communication skills.
  • Proactive problem solving, demonstrates a structured approach to analytical problem solving.
  • Microsoft Office Applications (including Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Power BI)
  • Self-motivated


As Management Accountant you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders, taking ownership of the reporting for specific Regions, working closely with finance and regional teams to drive process improvements.

Immediate/imminent start available for a Qualified finance professional who has the experience and competency to understand the requirements of the client and hit the ground running. You will be part of a busy, friendly working environment with excellent on-site facilities.
