The Strategy Associate will be part of the Strategy and Business Planning team, consisting
primarily of people with a background in management consultancy.
Responsible for four areas of work: strategy development; integrated planning; development and implementation of strategic projects; and running our PMO.

Description
Key Responsibilities:
The Strategy Associate will:
● Work with the Head of Strategy Development and Business Planning, and the rest of the
team, to deliver against the Trust's 5 year strategy, consistently communicating a clear
vision for the future and a path to get there;
● Adapt the Trust's strategy to reflect changing circumstances, such as the introduction
of a major government policy;
● Ensure that the strategy is embedded across the Trust, so that all projects and other
activities are focussed on helping us achieve strategic goals;
● Identify ways to overcome barriers to growth and ensuring that we take action early
enough to address them;
● Lead work streams and projects across the different departments to help crack
challenging questions faced by the Trust, working with senior leaders across the
organisation;
● Act as an organisation-wide resource to drive innovation, working with teams to help find
new approaches to recurring problems

The larger Strategy Department is led by the Director of Strategy and Implementation,
responsible for four areas of work: strategy development; integrated planning across the
Trust; development and implementation of strategic projects; and running our Portfolio
Management Office.
