Systems Accountant Requirements:

You hold a recognised accountancy qualification and have strong experience of complex process mapping and migration projects.

You have experience owning the entire reconciliation system, including working with technology partners to drive system improvements around efficiency, control and reporting.

You recognise the importance of maintaining best practice and continuous improvement of controls, policies and procedures within the finance function.

You are analytical and methodical, with the ability to understand complex flows of data from bespoke platforms and a sound understanding of the outputs required for accounting systems.

You have also worked closely with operational teams to understand new workflows and how they interact with the reconciliation platform.

You have in-depth working knowledge of the SUN accounting software and that is coupled with experience in the travel industry, (preferably with CAA / ATOL) then you would be at a real advantage.
