Following promotion an exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Finance/Financial Reporting Manager. Located on the outskirts of Oxford and based in beautiful Grade 2 listed buildings.

You will need to be a talented, a forward-thinking individual who can be part of a developing finance team. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manger you will support the company strategy and business objectives with financial policies, processes and reporting capabilities.

Duties and responsibilities include

  • Liaising with suppliers, customers, HMRC etc resolving queries and completion of transactions. Submitting VAT/EC returns.
  • Developing and monitoring of financial policies, processes and systems
  • Supporting business resource planning, budgeting and forecasting
  • Business partnering – supporting the wider organisation
  • Analysis, reconciliations and payments
  • Development of KPIs and performance reporting
  • Working on a range of finance projects supporting the project management team
  • Contribute to implementation of process and reporting improvements

The role would suit a person who understands financial regulations, best practice with experience of financial reporting and management systems.

You will be a hands-on team player with drive and enthusiasm. Excellent communication skills especially to non-financial individuals. Focused, strong attention to detail and accuracy, highly numerate, a problem solver who will roll up their sleeves and muck in.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT A NEWLY QUALIFIED ACA/ACCA FROM PRACTICE OR AN SME ENVIRONMENT.
