EMEA Financial Accountant

Partner Financial are currently recruiting for an EMEA Financial Accountant for one of the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firms. It is the leading adviser for commercial property in the United Kingdom and had a global annual turnover of £21bn.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Financial Accountant to gain experience in a dynamic and prestigious business. The role is responsible for all Group reporting requirements and controls on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsibility for all Group reporting requirements and controls on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis for the EMEA Advisory segment
• Responsibility for ensuring that company accounting policies, US GAAP and SOX requirements are being met
• Establishing key relationships with the following:  the EMEA Group Reporting Manager, EMEA Controller, senior finance staff (FD/FC) in each country, the Global Finance team and cross-functional teams including tax, treasury and legal
• Assisting countries with monthly actual submissions in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and monitoring regional submissions and ensure reconciliation control
• Conducting Corporate analytical monthly reviews (P&L and Balance Sheet) for EMEA Advisory entities and communicating this effectively to the EMEA Controller, the regional CFO and Global Controllership

Profile

• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)

• Experience in group accounting from either an audit or an accounting perspective
• Thorough knowledge of US GAAP and SOX accounting policies and reporting
• Ability to analyse financial information and resolve ambiguous transactions for correct coding
