Financial Controller

The Financial Controller position is a permanent position working for a high growth investor backed Fintech business.

The company is growing rapidly and as a result are looking to invest in their finance function with the addition of Financial Controller. This is an exciting time to join a complex business where you will have full oversight over the production of monthly accounts and management of a small team.

The role is based in Cheshire.

Responsibilities will include:

• Production of Monthly Management Accounts
• Overseeing payments team of 5.
• Provide commentaries of budget/forecast vs actuals and trending P&L
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Group consolidations
• Cashflow forecasting
• Managing the group Audit
• Production year end and interim accounts
• Review and streamline processes

Candidate profile:

1. Must be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
2. Must have a can-do attitude.
3. Must be comfortable doing the nuts and bolts of accounting.
4. Experience consolidating accounts is essential
5. Line management experience would be beneficial.
6. Good communication skills and being a team player are a must.
