Axon Moore are working with a Leeds based business who are looking to appoint a Group Financial Accountant, who is looking to move into a position, which would offer clear progression plans for their future development.
As a member of the financial reporting team within Group Finance, you'll help drive production of the group's consolidated financial results and work with finance teams across the business to analyse and advise on financial accounting matters
Key responsibilities as Group Financial Accountant will include:
• To be responsible for the on-going development of management reporting and KPI’s.
• To work with local finance teams to improve the quality of information and reports reported each month.
• To liaise across the business in relation to timetables to ensure Group Deadlines are met.
• To be responsible for the Organisation and Co-ordination and Consolidation of the monthly Group Accounts to a standard agreed by all Directors.
• To be responsible for the organisation, co-ordination and consolidation of the monthly Flash results.
• To be responsible for the organisation, co-ordination and consolidation of Group KPI’s
• To be a point of contact for local finance teams and provide support where necessary for technical accounting issues..
• Ensure all Intercompany Balances are reconciled each month.
• Ensure all Foreign Exchange transactions and conversions are correctly treated.
• To ensure all Consolidation adjustments are correctly recorded each month.
• To prepare all reconciliations, calculations and forecasts relating to the Group
The ideal person for this role will be:
• ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified accountant.
• Planning and organisational skills
• Possesses strong skills in numeracy and communication.
• IFRS and FRS101/102.
