Internal Audit Manager

As Internal Audit Manager you will responsible for ensuring that the organisation conducts an efficient, timely and transparent audit process. This position is a crucial point between the internal parties and the organisation.

This will be a standalone internal audit role – complimented by a supportive team with whom you will have regular contact. You will gain invaluable exposure at a global reach.

Your role:

• Providing clear, concise and prompt collation of information required for the audit process
• Performing financial and operational audits and identifying key risks and controls
• Creating effective assurance plans
• Providing recommendations for process improvements
• Building reports and presenting findings to internal clients
• Building and maintaining relationships internally and with the auditors to ensure efficient operation of the audit process
• Highlighting gaps or patterns and trends, and implementing business process improvements resulting from the audit process
• Executing internal and external audit requests across all of operations

As the successful candidate you will have:

• Big-4 consultancy or a reputable consultancy background (audit/internal audit)
• A strong understanding of risk management and audit principles and an understanding of audit philosophy, methods and techniques e.g. flowcharting, interviewing, presentation
• Be able to build and sustain relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Proven ability to meet strict deadlines in an organised manner
• Strong capability to negotiate and build effective relationships
