ABPM as experts in financial recruitment are assisting a manufacturing organisation based in Leicestershire to recruit a Financial Accountant. The successful candidate will need to be a qualified accountant who is pro-active and forward thinking to embrace change within a fast paced environment. Understand the depths of accuracy in information to drive a customer focus by being an innovative team player who can bring ideas, face challenges and find solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Production of financial accounts and statutory accounts
- Maintaining fixed assets and financial records
- Monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Preparation of accruals, journals, reconciliations, analysis and KPI's
- Assist in month end procedures, cyclical reports and duties
- Continuously look for improvement to develop processes
- Build strong relationships and attend to support changes
- Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to throughout
- Ad-hoc tasks when required
PROFILE
- To be a Qualified Accountant - ACA / ACCA
- Experience within statutory accounting and general ledger activities
- IT literate (SAP experience would be desirable)
