ABPM as experts in financial recruitment have been appointed by an exiting and expanding Birmingham based manufacturer in the recruitment a qualified Accountant. The successful candidate will need to be a motivated and proactive individual who wants an all-round role to which will develop their team management skills and financial accounts and management accounts exposure to deliver results to support decision making and business growth. An excellent developmental role on the journey to becoming a Finance Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Production of management accounts and statutory accounts.
- Detailed analysis of margin and costs.
- Budgeting, cashflow reporting, forecasting and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Build detailed summaries to assist with improvements and planning.
- Management of fixed assets, accruals, prepayments and VAT.
- Supporting commercial and operational decision making through accurate information.
- Ad-hoc tasks when required.
PROFILE
- ACA / ACCA / ACMA
- Experience of Financial and Management Accounting
- Advanced Excel and excellent communications skills
