Management Accountant

Opportunity to join a growing manufacturing company as a Management Accountant. Reporting directly into the Finance Director to prepare the monthly management accounts including commentary and variance analysis and to support budget and forecasting.

Our client, a family owned design and manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Brighton is currently looking to recruit a Management Accountant.

Description

Working for the Finance Director you will administer and prepare the company's management accounts including executive summaries, supplementary information and detailed analysis of performance. You will also provide management accounting support to the Finance Director and wider business.

Your responsibilities will include;

• Preparing the monthly management accounts including commentary and variance analysis.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations including calculation and posting of prepayments, accruals and other adjusting journals.
• Monitor operational and product costs.
• Prepare margin and profitability analysis by product and region.
• Report on sales order intake.

Profile

The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant however qualified by experience with relevant experience may be considered.

Experienced at producing management accounts and providing meaningful insight to the numbers.

Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels.

Commercial awareness.

Strong analytical skills.

Ability to identify and diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.

Strong Excel skills to include pivot tables, lookups etc

Experience of Microsoft Dynamics AX would be helpful

Job Offer

Up to £50,000 per annum + pension and private medical
