We’re supporting a high growth, blue-chip, developer to find a commercial Financial Controller to support their Southern operations.
This is a true business partnering role, working with Regional FD’s on their commercial business strategy, as well as producing and managing the reporting from a commercial perspective
Key deliverables:
- Reviewing the regional management accountants and providing meaningful analyses and recommendations to the board and stakeholders
- Support and drive the budgeting and forecasting process for group companies.
- KPI analyses and general commercial analysis - decision support etc
- Financial controllership
- New business viability
This would be a great role for someone looking to make a move into a a divisional FD role in 2-3 years.
This business had a solid track record of progressing candidates through the business.
Skills & Knowledge
• Qualified (preferably AC)
• Strong written reporting skills.
• Confident communication skills.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Drive to continually improve processes and seek new challenges.
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Exposure to, or interest in, residential property development
Qualifications
• Qualified accountant from one of the recognised accountancy bodies or equivalent (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, etc.).
