Management Accountant

A market leading insurer are currently looking for a Management Accountant to join their rapidly growing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a more analytical role within a finance function.

The main responsibilities of this Management Accountant vacancy include:

• Producing and reviewing budget assumption files prior to start of budgeting process
• Assisting with the preparation of the Syndicate Business Forecast
• Ensuring that monthly, quarterly and yearly internal reports are produced, reviewed and distributed in compliance with the required deadlines.
• Ensuring that financial MI adequately supports the reserving process
• Conducing the premium, commission and reserve reviews (pre and post close), to identify key movements
• Participating on project work across any aspect of the FP&A team’s responsibilities

The candidate for this Management Accountant vacancy will be someone with at least 2 and half years’ experience within the insurance industry in an accounting role. The his Management Accountant vacancy will be someone who is either a qualified/part qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) who has a methodical approach to problem solving.
