My Client, an instantly recognisable local business with a national presence, is seeking a Management Accountant to join them during an exciting period of growth.
Supporting the Financial Controller, this will be a highly visible role within the company and a fantastic opportunity for an ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA studier, or AAT Qualified, Management Accountant to join a busy and growing finance team.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable Management Accounting experience and be confident in working to complete monthly Management Accounts in an efficient and timely manner and to a fixed deadline.
Key Accountabilities
• Assisting in the production of the monthly Management Accounts
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Quarterly VAT Analysis and Returns, including VAT returns
• Support with cash flow analysis
• Resolve and remediate internal and external queries
• Supplier reconciliations and payments review
• Planning and performance management
• Generation of ad hoc management reports
• Adhoc duties and projects
Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills
• Experience in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of Excel, including V Lookup and Pivot tables
• Self-motivated
• Methodical with attention to detail
• Flexible and willing to take on multiple challenges
• Demonstrable experience of process improvement
