Assistant Management Accountant

A FTSE 100 listed, multibillion-pound turnover, international specialist organisation is looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant for their head office finance team on the outskirts of Runcorn. Offered full-time on a permanent basis, this management accounting role pays up to £30,000 per year.

Your new role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible for:

• Assisting with the preparation of Monthly Management Accounts, Group Reporting and Year End Accounting.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable.
• Fixed Asset reporting.
• Bank Reconciliations.
• Variance Analysis.
• Accruals & Prepayments.
• Expense Analysis.

About you

This Assistant Management Accountant position would ideally suit a part qualified accountant with ambition to develop their career in a fast-paced subsidiary of a FTSE 100 plc. Ideally, you will be:

• A tenacious, committed and hardworking self-starter.

• Experienced in the preparation and reconciliation of month-end accounts.
• In possession of excellent communication and relationship building skills.
• Sound of judgement with the ability to make good decisions.
• Highly skilled in IT, numerical, problem solving and Excel.
• An organised, fast worker with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Able to work to strict deadlines and prioritise their workloads.
• Keen to learn and master new skills.

Salary

The Assistant Management Accountant will be offered £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
