Management Accountant/Finance Manager

Management Accountant job 12 month contract near Maidstone £40k - £50k DOE starting Jan 2020

Your new company
You will be working for a well know luxury brand with a global presence. The Management Accountant/Finance Manager job is to cover maternity leave for 12 months starting no sooner the January 2020. You will work in the companies modern offices near Maidstone with parking onsite.

Your new role
You will be responsible for completing the companies financial reports and management accounts. You will supervise 2 members of staff however these are self-sufficient. Half way through the contract you will assist with a systems implementation. You will be responsible for preparing monthly, YTD and annualised management accounts, including profit and loss, cash flow, balance sheet, budgets, commentaries, variance analysis and other financial statements. You will prepare business information for the Commercial and After Sales teams, including sales reports, margin analysis etc. You will provide analysis and control of expenditure for department heads, undertake periodic stock takes, control the Fixed Assets register, providing Capex analysis and reporting. You will implement corporate governance procedures, risk management assessments and internal control audits.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need previous experience within a management accountant or finance manager position ideally with retail/wholesale but not essential. You will have worked in interim or contract roles previously and can hit the ground running. You will be ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified with excellent ERP systems skills, ideally SAP or MS Dynamics. You will be self-sufficient and have strong communication skills to all levels. You will be able to start in January 2020 and commit to the full contract term.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £40k - £50k DOE with additional benefits and the possibility of a completion bonus.
