The Analyst will play a key role in providing delivering the company plan through cost control, analysis, insight delivery, strategic change and involvement in various high-profile projects.

You will work for a large, Leeds based business within the Retail sector.

Description

  • Setting the annual financial plan, generating analysis to drive performance and owning waste cost lines
  • Identification and presentation of ideas to capitalise on P&L opportunity
  • Working with key stakeholders to build an expectation of performance
  • Opportunity to business partner areas of the E-commerce team such as Marketing, Customer Experience, Development and Fleet to support delivery of the 3 year and annual plan, build business cases and support implementation of new initiatives
  • Creation of ad-hoc analysis to drive performance, a significant element of this role is dedicated to high profile, ad-hoc pieces of work
  • Opportunity to influence the team through commercial reviews & divisional forums

Profile

  • Previous commercial finance experience
  • Accounting qualification
  • Strong technical skills (Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, Essbase)
  • Ability to analyse data and convert into actionable insights
  • Strong eye for detail
  • Enthusiasm to learn and progress your career
  • Ability to deliver results in collaboration with others in a fast-paced environment
