ABPM as experts in financial recruitment have been invited to support a key client in the leisure sector that is part of an exciting and innovative listed group in the search for an exceptional finance professional to undertake a rewarding business facing role. At a time of ongoing growth and strategic developments the post underpins the CFO and C suite.
You will be measured by the quality of the provision of your commercial finance insight and critical analytical challenge to ensure the organisation achieves the financial targets through an existing suite of metrics and KPis, consequently, your key business partners with your team of qualified accountants, will be the Operations and Marketing teams.
Who are we after? Take it as read will be a fully qualified accountant and you will have extremely strong stakeholder management experience, coupled with excellent FP&A skills.

At a day to day level you will be managing and developing a small and highly qualified finance team, who under your guidance will deliver accurate and timely financial reports. Identifying and following risks and opportunities, the responsibility for robust forecasting is in place with commentaries to support updates and variations on a weekly and monthly basis.
Given the activities of the business the marketing team promote interesting consumer options so you will build, manage, track and evaluate investments and promotions to drive profits in line with the annual plan. At a strategic level the M&A activity rest with you to support the CEO/CFO and plc board. In summary it is a broad remit with an exciting agenda that is an ideal role for an aspirational CFO of the future.
