Head of Finance

I am looking to recruit a qualified Financial Controller (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) for a growing, international business based in Twickenham.

Reporting to senior management you will be managing the finance team, and responsible for producing the monthly/quarterly management reporting pack, board packs, budgeting and forecasting and International financial consolidations.

You will be personally responsible for some of their International entities, and will be heavily involved with a systems implementation, assist with the move to IFRS reporting and develop their systems and processes.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparation of reports for the leadership team, management meetings, US parent company, Board and other stakeholders

Variance reporting & various cost analyses for international subsidiaries as well as overall
consolidation

Oversee transfer pricing

Leading and reporting on Company Secretarial issues

Preparation of capex proposals - for larger cases as well as for international subsidiaries

Prepare budgets and forecasts for international subsidiaries and work with UK team on overall
consolidation

KPIs and trends for all companies; monitor and create systems to improve working capital metrics

Management of outsourced tax and audit

You will be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), ideally trained within practice, and have experience in a multi entity international business.

Extensive knowledge of UK and US GAAP is essential

Previous experience of systems implementation is preferred

International trade experience is essential including non-UK tax jurisdictions

You will need previous staff management experience, and be passionate about coaching and developing your team. You will be happy with the hands-on nature associated with operating in a medium, entrepreneurial business but also have exposure to multi-entity environment.

You will be comfortable communicating with senior managers, and be passionate about contributing to the company and its ambitious growth plans.

This role will involve some International and UK travel, circa 5%
