Senior Accounting Specialist - Slough - Interim 3 months

A Senior Accounting Specialist is urgently required by this multi-national company based in Slough, Berkshire for an immediate start (3 months). Reporting to the Finance Manager, the key purpose of the interim Senior Accounting Specialist role is to provide:

  • General Ledger Reconciliation - responsible for the reconciliation of general ledger accounts, identifying improvements to the reconciliation process, and remediation of discrepancies in regard to supporting the Balance Sheet.
  • Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation and completion of Statutory Financial Statements. 
  • Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual Reporting to the group, local management and Companies House.
  • Systems Management - maintenance and management of accounting associated with the company’s operational system.

The ideal candidate will be a part qualified accountant with good system and process improvement experience skills; posses advanced MS Office skills including Excel and Access. In return you will receive a day rate equivalent £36-38,000pa.
