As a key member of the Finance Team, you will ensure all invoices and payments are processed in a timely and effective manner. You will log, check and enter invoices and credit notes into the Accounts Payable ledger and forward the invoices to the relevant managers for approval.
Reporting to the Finance Team Leader (Expenditure) you’ll effectively deal with supplier queries, reconcile supplier statements and update authorised Account Payable invoice batches. You’ll also prepare and process the sundry BACs, CHAPS and cheque requests.
This is a hands-on role at the heart of the service that their Finance Team delivers to suppliers and customers, so your customer focussed attitude with strong administrative experience will be key. Suitably experienced, flexible and approachable with excellent time management and planning skills, you’ll be able to use your own initiative and work independently to solve problems.
Our client have a permanent full-time post (35 hours per week) as well as a part time post of 14 hours per week, Monday to Friday. However they would welcome full or part time applications (minimum of 14 hours) as they are flexible in how they cover the available hours.
You’ll be based at their head office in Trafford, Manchester but you won’t be sat in the office, hiding behind your laptop! Their agile style of working and flexible working hours mean that if you need to collect the kids from school, no problem. Want to work late finishing a report and take the time back the next day, go ahead. They know that a committed and dedicated member of the team doesn’t clock watch.
