Financial Controller

We are currently recruiting a Financial Controller for our client based in North Exeter. This role will be the No 1 finance person on site, reporting directly into a very supportive and commercial Finance Director.

The position plays a key role in partnership with the Finance Director, ensuring strong financial performance from both a finance and operational perspective.

The responsibilities of role are varied and multi-faceted, this role will have a real impact on business decisions, duties include:

• Management of a small finance team, including recruitment and performance views
• Provision of accurate and timely management information, including the development of existing KPIs
• Maintenance and development of relationship between finance and operations, including the challenging of numbers
• Financial control including: Budget and forecast preparation, cash flow management and spending control
• Assist and liaise with external auditors during the year and at year-end audit

The successful candidate will be fully qualified with either CIMA / ACCA or ACA equivalent, have previous experience in a manufacturing environment, and possess strong team leading and interpersonal skills.
