Tax Accountant

A UK based property company are looking for a qualified Tax Accountant to join their fast-growing team. The Tax Accountant will lead the filing of tax returns across all formats and help define the process and workflow. The Tax Accountant will work closely with leadership and external consultants, reporting directly to the CFO. A great opportunity for a qualified Tax specialist with some post-qualification experience.

Responsibilities of the Tax Accountant:

• Manage tax compliance for the business
• Responsible for Corporate Tax, VAT Returns and Construction Industry related taxes
• Prepare tax payments
• Estimate and track tax returns
• Complete quarterly and annual tax reports
• Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals
• Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns
• Share financial data with the finance department
• Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits

Requirements of the Tax Accountant:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIT, ATT, CTA, ACT qualification
• Proven work experience as a Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst or Tax Preparer
• Experience in a range of taxes
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
• Senior stakeholder management capabilities
• Strong numeracy skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skillset
