Investigo is delighted to partner with a leading property & real estate firm based in Central London on their hunt for an experience Management Accountant.

This well established firm specialises in developing and optimising property assets for clients up and down the country - meaning the successful candidate will be heavily involved with business partnering, technical accounting and project work.

The day to day duties will involve:

  • Partner with Profit Centre Managers to assist them in delivery of annual Business Plan, providing financial and commercial guidance.
  • Assist Profit Centre Managers in driving growth and improving profitability by monitoring key KPI's.
  • Liaise with Project Support staff to ensure that timesheets are completed in a timely fashion by staff and invoicing and project forecasts are regularly updated and maintained by Project Managers.
  • Business partner with Project Managers to ensure project forecasts are accurate and challenge forecasts when needed, flagging up any potential risks or opportunities.
  • Update, maintain and ensure integrity of profit centre forecasts within the forecasting system.
  • Manage production of month end management accounts within set deadlines, ensuring true reflection of monthly financial performance.
  • Working capital management and reporting, maintaining effective links with the Credit Control team to ensure prompt cash collection.
  • Assist in pricing and scenario planning to ensure bids are properly priced.

Experience required:

  • ACCA or CIMA part qualified / studier
  • Experience managing full set accounts or project level accounting
  • Property experience not required but an understanding of the industry would help
  • Intermediate excel skills
  • Experience working with finance and non-finance colleagues
  • Eager to learn and develop
