Hamilton Woods Associates continues its unique offering with this brilliant opportunity working for an instantly recognisable PE backed FMCG business with regional travel between the North and South. A critical and pivotal role within the business you will be joining a high performing commercial finance team with a great reputation for development and progression, reporting directly into a driven Head of Commercial Finance.

A varied and not your typical finance role!

As a Finance Business Partner, you will support Sales and Operations, influencing change with an emphasis on revenue, sales and strategy and will enjoy going out into the business 'converting questions into answers.'

A brief overview of responsibilities:

• Partnering with Senior Stakeholders to help them understand their revenue and cost drivers
• Support business partnering activities by ensuring the appropriate level of commercial support is provided to the business and region
• Key support for Regional Directors including attendance at regional meetings.
• Work with operational teams through robust financial analysis of historic and forecast performance providing insight and challenge and helping to identify cost saving opportunities and manage emerging risks.
• Play a key role in the effective delivery, implementation and monitoring of any value-adding or cost reducing activity.
• Finance subject matter expert for one or more key P&L areas, linking operational and financial impacts with knowledge of the underlying commercial relationships.
• Support in the identification and implementation of initiatives across the business including supporting preparation of business cases.
• Business partner for functional heads including product, maintenance, marketing and central costs.
• Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts with focus on regional costs ensuring appropriate review and understanding of risks and opportunities associated with delivery.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

• A Graduate, ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant with over 3 - 5 years demonstrable experience.
• Flexibility in approach and ability to communicate with all levels of the business.
• Experience of operating in a similar role within a fast paced, Retail, FMCG, Leisure, B2B or B2C business.
• Excellent people skills and commercial acumen with strong excel and systems knowledge.

PACKAGE:

• Basic Salary - £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
• Car / Car Allowance
• (15 - 20% Bonus) plus excellent benefits
