As Group Financial Accountant your role will comprise of:
- Preparation, completion and review of month end accounts
- Monthly variance analysis for actual results against budget and forecast
- Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of each local subsidiary's accounting records
- Supervision of revenue invoices, purchase invoices and staff expenses
- Posting of journals, including month end accruals, depreciation and recharges
- Preparation and approval of balance sheet reconciliations
- Provision of information to in country accounting and tax suppliers
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with staff internally and with external suppliers, such as in country accounting and tax suppliers and banks
- Cashflow forecast and management of working capital balances in each country
- Implementing new processes and improving current procedures
- Assisting with the group year end and half year financial statements and associated disclosures
- Preparation of local subsidiary financial statements and liaison with local auditors

- Have experience of operating in a tight control environment
- Have experience of public company accounts
- Experience of Group accounts and dealing with multiple subsidiary companies
- Experience with preparation/audit of statutory accounts under IFRS or US GAAP
