Resourcery Group are recruiting a Senior Accountant for a rapidly-evolving, high growth and award winning SME in the Lancashire market. The role is commutable from areas including Blackburn, Leyland, Morecambe, Lancaster, Kendal, Blackpool, Lytham, Chorley, Kirby Lonsdale amongst others.

This business is rapidly expanding and has a number of further acquisitions in the pipeline for 2020.

Reporting to and working closely with an experienced and people-centric Finance Director who is keen to mentor and develop a nextgen Financial Controller, you, as Finance Manager will be developed into a senior decision-maker and have a voice on the Senior Leadership Team. With daily exposure to C-suite executives you will gain masses of experience just simply not available in most other businesses. Managing a small team, you will need to display leadership qualities, especially given the business is growing rapidly both organically and acquisitively meaning an ever-evolving finance function.

Drive, dynamism, agility - all key traits valued in such an environment. The team will lead on accounts preparation and statutory reporting but the Finance Manager's role is much more business focused, supporting new business development (bonus-able), client tenders, pricing and driving performance and profitability improvements.

Applicants to the role of Finance Manager should:

Be ACA or ACCA qualified.
Possess a strong technical background with knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS and statutory accounts production experience.
Be capable at managing a small team and being part of a Senior Leadership Team.
Be commercially-astute capable of driving business performance.
Be comfortable working in a dynamically evolving business.
Possess gravitas to lead a team and be heard by the C-suite.
