Payroller - Harrogate

THE COMPANY:

This business is a fast growing, successful market leader with Head Offices based in Harrogate. We have partnered with them to recruit a stand-alone Payroll Officer to join the business and take owership of the payroll function.

THE JOB:

Within this standalone position, you would be taking ownership of the payroll for the business and managing a payroll of 400 employees. Within this fast paced and varied role you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Monthly Payroll Processing
• Administering SSP SMP SPP schemes within ADP
• Processing all tax documentation including P45, P46, P60,and P11D's
• Real time information exchange with HMRC
• Completion and submission of payroll year end
• Pension administration, submissions and controls
• Coding and processing payroll journal
• Dealing with all employee payroll queries
• Monthly payroll reporting
• Monthly variance analysis - actual vs budget
• Reconciliation of all Payroll control accounts
• Ad-hoc analytical duties

THE PERSON:

• Minimum of 2 years payroll experience
• Excellent knowledge of payroll legislation
• Confident in a stand alone role
• First class communication skills
• Organised and deadline driven
• Team player
