38 Degrees is made up of more than 2 million people from all walks of life across the UK. We have different backgrounds and opinions, but we all agree - politics works better when more of us get involved to make the UK a fairer place.

Our exceptional team of 38Ders help make that happen, by giving people in every corner of the country the tools to make our voices heard on the issues we care about. But we don’t just seek to change the outside world either; at 38 Degrees, we’re always learning how to be even more mindful of how our country, our priorities and our team is changing, and are as responsive as possible to ensure our culture is as inclusive and considerate as humanly and technologically possible.

We’re looking for an excellent part-time Finance Director to join our Senior Leadership Team (SLT), reporting to the CEO and playing a crucial role in leading on all aspects of finance and helping to drive strategic priorities forward at 38 Degrees.

As a Chartered Accountant, you’ll need to be comfortable operating at a strategic level and also willing to work closely with a small team on operational matters. Building strong relationships and being able to quickly develop a rapport with the wider team is key to being successful in this role.

Not-for-profit sector experience would be beneficial, but it is more important to have a commercial mindset that could come from a variety of different sectors.  You should enjoy working in a fast paced, agile environment, where you are able to grasp issues quickly and demonstrate a collaborative approach to problem solving.

38 Degrees is striving to build a team that is truly inclusive. We welcome applications from marginalised groups, particularly people of colour, trans and non-binary people, older and Disabled people.
