Senior Management Accountant - Doncaster

Elevation Recruitment Group are partnering with a leading Doncaster manufacturing business, who following a recent restructure have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant to join their team. You will be assisting the Financial Controller in managing and controlling operational finance as well assisting in the management of customer rebate payments.

Role Responsibilities:-

- Lead and manage a team of 2
- Full production of Monthly Management Accounts
- Finance Business Partner for the manufacturing facility, working closely with workshop managers and operations
- Analysis of production output, overheads, inventory, KPIs (actuals against budget)
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure accurate stock coding within accounts
- Working closely with the commercial team to manage customer rebates including ensuring the accrual amounts are correct and accurate at all times
- Performing sales margin analysis
- Process improvement and development across the department
- Any other ad-hoc projects

Person Specification: -

- Ideally CIMA or ACCA qualified (Qualified by Experience will also be considered)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong business partnering skills
- Staff management experience would be highly desirable
- Strong analytical skills
- Desire and ability to challenge the status quo
- Proven capability of identifying and implementing process improvements
- A confident IT user with strong Excel skills


The Package:-

- Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
- Annual Bonus of up to 10%
