A growing commercial multi-site business is seeking to add an Accounts Assistant to their finance function to support the Finance Manager in the day to day accounting activities. The role is varied and requires the ability to multi-task, organise your workload and prioritise as necessary. Your principle responsibilities will be:
  • Processing all purchase invoices onto Sage through to payment runs
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Issuing and processing sales invoices
  • Credit control
  • Bank reconciliations
  • General ledger postings
  • Managing petty cash
  • Collating payroll data
  • Assisting the Finance Manager with month end preparation
You will be an experience Accounts Assistant who is comfortable with both sides of the ledger and reconciliations. Your Excel skills should be at least to intermediate standard and exposure to Sage L50 would be highly desirable. AAT study would be desirable, but not essential. Most of all, you will be able to work independently and be very well organised with high attention to detail.
