Systems / Project Accountant

Our Client is an expanding business services operation with prestigious offices located in Central Leeds - within walking distance of both train / bus stations. They have an immediate opportunity for a systems focused Accountant to join them for a 12 month fixed term contract to work on the project team managing the implementation of their new systems.
This role will take responsibility for
Finance systems and reporting including BI system management - providing poc for users across the business.
Development of a complete suite of Financial reports for MI and monthly reporting
Automation of monthly reporting
Modelling including scenario and profitability planning
Process review - mapping existing processes, refining and implementing into new system ensuring integrity and functionality is optimised.
This role requires an individual who can demonstrate strong technical accounting knowledge - ideally possessing an accountancy qualification ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent, although this is not essential. You will also be required to demonstrate a commercial approach and excellent systems skills. To include modelling in excel to a high standard. Experience of having delivered in a similar project environment to tight deadlines is a must as well as displaying an flexible approach to your work load.
There will be a mix of working from home and office based work required for this role.
