Senior Payroll & Benefits Administrator - Technology Business - London - 12 Month FTC to Permanent role

£30,000 - £35,000 + Benefits

Currently seeking a confident Payroll & Benefits professional to join the business on an initial 12 Month Fixed Term Contract with the view to go permanent.

Your new role
You will be joining a friendly and sociable Payroll team, a sub division of the Finance function for the company. Due to structural changes in the team, this is a newly designed role which will report directly into the Payroll Manager. You will be tasked with processing the in-house, UK payroll from start to finish, ensuring all steps have been completed in a timely and accurate fashion.

Confidence is key, as you will be the second in charge to the Payroll Manager, therefore you will be assisting her and providing support where necessary.

In addition to the Payroll, you will be involved with the Benefits, managing co-worker benefit schemes such as Private Medical insurance ensuring any entitlements are communicated efficiently.

In addition to the running of the day to day payroll duties, you will support the continuous improvement of payroll processes, actively contribute to the successful completion of Projects or improvement plans, whilst ensuring you understand the importance of payroll legislation changes and ensure that your work is compliant.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be selected for interview, it is essential that you have a good grounding in Payroll and are confident with the below:

  • In house, end to end payroll processing
  • Assisted with Payroll year end previously
  • Confident user of Excel - Knowledge of functions such as VLOOKUP's and Pivot Tables
  • Be a confident and clear communicator, with a friendly and sociable mindset
