Newly created position for a strategic Finance Systems Team Leader with outstanding leadership skills to lead a growing team of three systems administrators within a dynamic, global, high-growth business. Your role is to establish and maintain finance systems which are fit for purpose and future proofed as well as deliver supported finance systems which enable accurate and efficient financial reporting and support financial control framework. You will enable the finance systems team to deliver both ongoing support to wider teams, whilst also improving system performance. You will lead existing administrators to operate as an effective team servicing user needs across Oracle NetSuite, Expensify, Oracle PBCS and consolidation software remit.

The Financial Systems Lead responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
  • Manage the finance systems team to deliver day-to-day supported finance systems fit for a large multi-national firm, driving team output and efficiency
  • Deliver supported finance systems, establishing and delivering wider team query resolution within defined SLAs
  • Identify, scope and propose future development requirements on our existing finance systems
  • Drive development and documentation of the long term finance systems strategy and roadmap.  Including full assessment and documentation of system limitations and opportunities
  • Integration of finance systems with upstream trading systems and other supporting data sources
  • Design and implement finance systems in all organic regional growth operations and support integration of operations acquired via M&A
  • Document all system processes via policies, procedures and workflows
  • Support Finance Systems and Project Manager in project and regional growth delivery
  • Support adhoc tasks as they arise
Required skills and abilities expected to perform this role:
  • Experience finance systems administrator having completed system implementations and significant development
  • Experience of managing and developing a team with variety of skills and backgrounds
  • Advance technical knowledge, with ability to evaluate options to develop exceptional systems
  • Accountancy qualification preferable
  • Previously worked with Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP
  • Prior experience in documenting system architecture and modelling data flows
  • Experience in managing and delivering several projects
  • Can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Comfortable working in an ever-evolving environment resulting in continual change
