Management Accountant
Location: Manchester city centre
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
A growing ecommerce SME based in the heart of Manchester city centre are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. Working in a team of 3 and reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing monthly management accounts for all areas, highlighting areas of concern
- Reviewing and preparing accruals and prepayments, ensuring accuracy to ledger
- Preparing data for KPI measurements, variance analysis, and investigation
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations
- Reviewing and posting month-end journals
- Intercompany account reconciliation
- Liaising with the teams to ensure timely payments are made to factories
- Preparing quarterly VAT Returns and submitting to authorities via the portal, ensuring VAT liabilities are settled in a timely manner
- Reconciling VAT Returns to Nominal Ledger and investigating differences
- Preparing monthly Intrastat and EC Sales Lists
- Preparing and submitting statistical returns for ONS (UK) and others
Ideal candidate:
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA Part Qualified or Newly Qualified
- 3 years experience in a similar role
- Prior payroll experience is desirable
