A highly successful and regarded West Cornwall firm of chartered accountants planning for the future development and growth of their business is searching for the right Senior Manager / salaried Director / Partner as a pivotal hire. You will manage and lead an established team and be looking to play a lead role in the development of this highly successful accountancy firm.

 

Client Details

With offices over West Cornwall, the firm's clients are wide ranging in sector, turnover and industry range to cover the expected range of smaller sole traders and partnerships, alongside a large client base of OMBs and SMEs, ranging into the £millions in turnover, to considerably larger corporate clients with a decent number of audit clients within the firm The firm has around 900 clients, solicitors, bakers, farmers, hotels, holiday homes and high profile corporate clients, medium sized groups, as registered auditors, charities and statutory audits, also acting for smaller accountants in the region. The environment here suits a positive outlook with a passion for accountancy, quality and high level of service - the firm has an ethos on quality and the person coming on board will be looking to lead the director of the firm for the future, working alongside directors, playing a lead role in this firm future longevity and success.

 

Description

Joining this firm as Senior Manager / Salaried Director / Partner mouldable around the background and level of the right professional you will bring your earlier career strengths and background as an all-round accounts, tax, audit etc adviser to sole traders, partnerships and limited company OMBs, groups, subsidiaries, charities, not for profit and other clients to add value, with a hands-on approach when needed. However, you will have a highly experienced and capable team of management and wider junior support to undertake the delivery side and the main emphasis of your role will be leading and managing this team working closely with the directors as a pivotal support, looking to drive the firms future direction with implementing changes and improvements to procedures, improving efficiency's, practice management and installing standards across the business as a few examples. You will therefore take more of an operational and leadership role, You will progress in your career and carve a key, influential role in this well established and successful firm of chartered either as a long term salaried addition, or for those with interests to progress into equity and profit share, there will be a clear path on offer over a circa three year period or more.

 

Profile

You will hold any of ACA /ACCA/ CTA qualified etc, with a strong background in accountancy practice having developed your career to at least highly experienced Manager /Senior Manager levels, or you may be currently operating as an Associate Director / Partner / Designate, or a salaried Partner/Director level professional. You will have an all-around general practitioner career background gained within any of small, medium/large size, mid-tier, or top tier firm background ideally across audit, accounts and tax as an all-round general practitioner and you will be seeking a challenging, long term career move in the profession at this level.

 

Job Offer

Circa £50000 - circa £68,000 or more, dependent on the background experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits, negotiable. Please apply online.
