About the role:

Wolseley UK are recruiting a Finance Business Support Team Leader to join our Finance transactional team in Ripon. You will be responsible for managing a large team of transactional administrators ensuring all work is appropriately scheduled, tasks are completed accurately and to deadline. You will have responsibility for managing your direct reports and developed appropriately. We are looking for an experienced Transactional or Accounts Payable Team Leader to really manage and lead the team.

You will also be responsible for:

• Delegating and the scheduling of tasks to ensure all completed within agreed timescales and to agreed levels of accuracy.
• Monitor and report individual and team performance against agreed KPI’s and produce improvement plans where these are not being met.
• Staff development, supervision and motivation, using good organisational skills to encourage the team to achieve required targets
• To represent the team and department in relationships with internal and external stakeholders including Operational Managers, customers and suppliers
• Look for process improvement opportunities from identifying to implementation

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience managing a transactional team
• Transactional experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to influence and lead a team
