Group Financial Accountant: £45,000, Walsall

Gleeson Recruitment Group are currently recruiting a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join a Group Finance function. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller you'll be responsible for reporting and managing consolidated group financial performance

Duties & Accountabilities: Group Financial Accountant: Walsall

• Production of timely, accurate and reliable monthly Board reports setting out relevant financial information and insight.
• Setting timelines and formats for business FDs and their finance teams to provide information to ensure group reporting is delivered on time
• Involvement in the production of statutory accounts for multiple legal entities
• Production of accurate, reliable, and timely monthly P&L's, balance sheets and cash flow statements
• Production of Group reports that inform business leaders & Exec
• Working alongside the broader Group Finance team to ensure financial performance is appropriately communicated to the board of external stakeholders
• Analysing and checking data to ensure it is accurate and reliable and spotting issues with underlying data to be investigated and resolved
• Producing ad hoc reporting and analysis as required
• Recommending and implementing improvements in Group's financial controlling and reporting environment

About You: Group Financial Accountant: Walsall

You'll be an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant who ideally trained within a top 10 accountancy firm. You will have relevant IFRS experience and strong technical accounting knowledge. Demonstrating credibility, you'll have the ability to build relationships and communicate with confidence and challenge constructively. Organised, with great attention to detail you'll be comfortable working independently while making a team contribution.
