Lead Internal Audit & Risk Analyst

This transport company has evolved rapidly over the last few years and it's a fluid, innovative environment where staff are proactive and open to change. There is a large function currently with a Head of Audit, 4 Managers, and around 14 Senior Auditors, so a role like this will provide lots of opportunity for development and progression. The role responsibilities include:

• Plan and execute a wide range of complex internal audits
• Strong operational controls ownership
• Prepare high quality audit reports to present audit findings to Senior Management
• Utilise internal audit reports to capture valuable insights on current projects and processes
• Work closely with key process owners to implement the agreed audit actions
• Stay up-to-date with the latest compliance requirements and legislative changes
• Support business departments to implement the findings and recommendations of various governance and internal audit reviews
• Identify and recommend gaps and improvements to business processes
• Assist the Senior Internal Audit Manager with Audit Committee reporting

Travel is low, around 15-20%, focused on day trips in the UK.
