Assistant Accountant | Fast-Growth Hospitality Business | London

Harmonic are delighted to be working with a rapd-growth hospitality business in their search for an Assistant Accountant to join their expanding team. This role would suit an ambitious individual who is eager to take on extra responsibility and progress.

This role reports into an experienced Finance Manager and you will be responsible for the full accounts payable and accounts receivable function. While the role mainly focuses on transactional finance, you will have the opportunity to progress and take on bank reconciliations and journal postings.

The business is creative and dynamic, with a huge focus on culture. You will be part of a close-knit team who value collaboration and communication but who also provide fantastic training schedule to ensure career progression.

Due to certain requirements from the team, there are untraditional working hours of 12-8pm a couple of days a week which may be beneficial for some candidates with other commitments outside of work.

Responsibilities:

• Inputting invoices into the system
• Managing the Accounts Payable function
• Handling petty cash
• Working alongside other members of the finance team to process payments and expenses
• Communicating with other teams in regards to sales and profitability
• Completing bank reconciliations
• Working closely with the Finance Manager to post journals

Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years accounts payable experience within a retail or film/tv business
• Accounting or Finance degree qualification
• Strong AP and AR experience
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Salary: £30,000- £40,000 dependent upon experience

Start date: ASAP

Location: Central London with some work from home if desired

Working hours: 12-8pm
