Harmonic are delighted to be working with a rapidly growing Fintech start-up based in East Berkshire/West London, who are looking to make their first finance hire. The company has grown exponentially in the space of 3 years, going from 0 employees to 30. Due to this growth the Directors have decided to hire a talented Finance Manager who can help steer the business through this scaling phase. This is the ideal role for a driven and enthusiastic Accountant looking to work for a high-growth start-up.

The office is based in Windsor but has excellent travel links. The company culture is both fun and dynamic, with a tight-knit team. The business employ external accountants who provide assistance with the financial and management accounting; thus the role of the Finance Manager will be to focus more on the commercial elements.

The Role

As the Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for taking an overarching view of business performance and contributing to the financial strategy. You will be expected to produce accurate reports on business performance as well as deliver on KPIs and key metrics. The Finance Manager will be a member of the leadership team and will be given the opportunity to expand the team as the business scales.

Duties

• Contribute to the commercial & financial strategy as a member of the Senior Management Team
• Produce management accounts
• Improve profitability for the business
• Ensure daily payments are accurate
• Produce Management Information
• Provide analysis and deliver on key metrics and KPIs

What we need to see (essential):

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Worked previously in an Accountancy Firm

What we'd like to see (bonus):

• Experience working in an SME, start-up or scale-up (preferred)
• Prior experience in a Fintech business

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (plus bonus, medical insurance)
