Senior Management Accountant - Birmingham - 45 - 50k

Gleeson are working with a service provider who has seen continued growth during these uncertain times and are now looking to recruit a Senior Management Accountant who can own the month end process, and ensure accurate MI is presented to the leadership team.

The Senior Management Accountants aim is to deliver timely and accurate monthly management accounts, support the transactional team and provide detailed analysis and support to the business. The role will report into the Head of Finance who is looking for an Accountant who has a wealth of month end, budgeting and forecasting experience, and has a hands on approach to their work.

The business has gone through significant change recently which has resulted in a number of internal promotions due to individuals going "above and beyond". The Finance Director and Head of Finance see this role as a unique development opportunity for a strong Management Accountant to take the next step on the ladder, and are willing to provide the guidance and support needed to ensure it is a success.

The right person for the role will need to be outgoing and confident, with experience of building relationships across the business, preparing month end and Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.

The office is based in Central Birmingham, however, there will be remote working in place until Sept/Oct and flexibility afterwards.
