Revenue Controller

Qualified Accountant required for a leading technology business just outside Leamington Spa.

Your new company
We are delighted to be working with leading listed technology business based in Leamington Spa who are looking to recruit a Revenue Controller. The company have experienced enviable growth over the last 5 years and are market leaders in their field.

Your new role
As Revenue Controller you will join a rapidly growing and expanding organisation. Reporting into the UK Financial Controller you will oversee a team of 1 Qualified Accountant and will assume responsibility for all revenue reporting. This is a key business partnering role linking in with the Sales and Marketing teams. You will be responsible for challenging the sales team around forecasting, revenue recognition and understanding the key hot spots for the company. Overall you will be responsible for a revenue of circa £100 million.
Other duties include review of all active commercial contracts and reporting under IFRS15. You will take ownership of all month end revenue reporting. You will also be the the main point of contact with the auditors to discuss revenue.
Other duties will include sales forecasting and budget setting, regular quarterly review of Royalty statements and responsibility for accruals and deferrals.
This is a highly commercial role will require a candidate who can business partner with key internal and external stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Qualified Accountant with strong exposure to business partnering, revenue forecasting and contract reviews. You will possess excellent communication skills with an ability to influence the wider business. The role will be predominantly office based with some home working so candidates will need to be comfortable working in the office on a regular basis.
