A Top 10 Firm of Chartered Accountants are looking to recruit an Audit Assistant Manager / Supervisor to join their Manchester office. This is a new job opportunity for a newly or recently qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) to join a reputable Top 10 national accountancy firm working with corporate and listed clients.

Your new role
As an Audit Assistant Manager you will provide onsite management of audit assignments for a broad client base with some weighting towards listed and large corporate clients. As an assistant manager you will be responsible for overseeing the planning of the audits, working with the managers to agree budgeting and time resource, providing on the job training for the onsite staff, act as the main point of contact for clients and perform all closing procedures before passing the assignment to manager review. This firm have a proven track record of progressing their qualified staff through to management so for ambitious recently qualified auditors there is excellent scope to progress within 12 - 18 months.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant who has a proven track record of leading audit assignments and can demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. Any exposure to group audits, corporate or listed clients would be preferable.

This b opportunity offers a competitive salary of between £36000 - £38000 plus modern offices in the city centre of Manchester alongside the option to work remotely part of the week.
